Donor treatments
We have vast experience and are specialists in fertility treatments using donor sperm and/or eggs and have successfully helped numerous women and couples who required a donor to achieve pregnancy.
We understand that undergoing fertility treatment with donor sperm or eggs can be an emotional journey, and we are here to support you every step of the way. You will have a comprehensive consultation with one of our experienced medical teams who will be available to answer any questions you may have throughout your treatment process.
Insemination (IUI) or IVF with Donor Sperm
Insemination or IVF with sperm donation may be considered when, for various reasons, there is a complete lack of sperm production or in cases where treatment with one's own sperm has not resulted in embryos of sufficient quality and no other treatment is possible.

Insemination or IVF with donor sperm is suitable for single women, same-sex and heterosexual couples, where sperm is lacking.

We use sperm from our own Livio Sperm Bank and sperm banks in Denmark. This means we have good access to donor sperm at all our clinics and short waiting times.
- All sperm donors undergo thorough medical, psychosocial, and genetic evaluations before they can be released for use.
IVF with Donor Eggs
Egg donation is offered to couples and single women where the woman lacks or has severely reduced ovarian function. The reasons for this can be early menopause or when diseases, previous surgeries, or chemotherapy treatments have impaired ovarian function.
Egg donation can also be an alternative when repeated IVF treatments have not resulted in pregnancy.

IVF with Donor sperm and donor eggs (Double donation)
Double donation can be offered to couples who, for medical reasons, cannot use their own eggs or sperm, or to single women or same-sex female couples who need donated eggs. The child then has no genetic connection to either parent. Making the decision to receive donated eggs and sperm can be difficult, and it's important that you take your time to consider the decision.

Consultation with behavioral scientist/psychologist – 2,000 SEK per session
Special assessment is mandatory before all donation treatments, usually consisting of two sessions.

Double Donation

Please note that missed appointments or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged 400 SEK (applies to both region-funded and privately funded visits).
Please also note that any blood tests taken before a visit will be charged if the visit is missed/cancelled without a new doctor’s visit being booked.
Payment must be made no later than 10 days after the invoice date.
For IVF treatment, payment must be received before egg aspiration. An invoice is sent at treatment start.
We reserve the right to adjust prices due to cost increases, new medical recommendations, and/or implementation of new laws and regulations.
Any medication costs and ovulation test costs are additional.

Package price at Livio Falun for 3 treatments - This requires that all treatments are completed within 18 months. The sum entitles the patient to up to three treatments leading to transfer of fertilized eggs.
The treatment series is considered completed once one treatment has resulted in a child. The treatment package must be approved by a doctor at the clinic.

Sibling Reservation (Syskonreservation)
If possible, it is possible to reserve sperm for additional treatments with the same donor. For more information, please contact the clinic.
Sibling Reservation
8,000 SEK + 1,500 SEK administrative fee for sperm for one treatment occasion. Several can often be purchased if desired.
Annual storage cost applies.
When treating with already paid sibling-reserved sperm, the corresponding sum is deducted from the current treatment cost.

The treatment agreement must be approved by a doctor after medical assessment.
IVF treatment means retrieval of eggs, fertilization, and transfer of fertilized eggs (embryos). If the treatment is discontinued, see your contract. IVF treatment includes normal procedures related to IVF.
Measures not included are, for example, surgical retrieval of sperm from the testicle (PESA/TESE).
Payment terms
Payment must be made no later than 10 days after the invoice date. Invoice is sent at the start of stimulation. For IVF treatment, payment must be made before egg aspiration.
Any costs for sampling and ultrasound performed elsewhere are not included in the treatment fee.
All medication costs related to hormonal stimulation must be paid by the patient. These costs are partly covered by the Swedish high-cost protection system for those affiliated with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.
We do not accept cash.

Cost for legal family rights fee is added at the first treatment – 7,500 SEK, one-time cost.
The family rights process ensures that the same donor does not give rise to children in more than six families in Sweden (according to the National Board of Health and Welfare’s regulations).
