(applies to patients with a regional referral according to the regulations from the region).

Public funding
For those whose IVF treatment is paid for by the region, a patient fee is charged at each visit until the maximum fee is achieved. Please note that not all treatments are covered by the high‑cost protection scheme for medications. Consult your clinic for more information.

Information regarding package pricing
Package price – 3 IVF treatments
Under certain conditions, usually before the first treatment, we can offer a package price.
The cost for the package is according to the current price list at the time of invoicing. Payment must be received by Livio Falun before the first treatment begins.
Terms are stated in the patient agreement signed between Livio Falun and the woman/couple.
New patient couple consultation
Includes doctor’s visit, semen analysis, blood tests.

Sibling Reservation
If possible, sperm can be reserved for additional treatments with the same donor. For more information, contact the clinic.
8,700 SEK + 1,500 SEK administration fee for sperm for one treatment occasion, multiple can often be purchased if desired.

When treatment is done with already paid sibling-reserved sperm, the corresponding amount is deducted from the current treatment cost.

Your funding options
Many of our treatments can be offered with public funding. For regionally funded treatment, there are certain requirements such as the age of the woman and man (may vary between regions), that the couple does not have children together previously, that the man or woman is not sterilized or that the woman is not underweight or overweight (regions may have different BMI limits). If the couple or woman is entitled to regionally funded care, treatment can also take place at private clinics that have agreements.
In collaboration with Human Finans, Livio offers the possibility for advantageous loans and financing of your fertility treatment. For example, it is possible to take an interest-free loan for an IVF treatment and split the payment over 6 or 12 months.

Bo is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology and was involved in founding the IVF clinic in Falun in 1989. Since then, he has worked at several fertility clinics as well as the women’s clinics in Falun and Gävle before returning to Livio Falun.

Embryologist
Klaudia holds a Master of Science in Technical Biology and a Master’s degree in Forensic Science. She takes care of eggs and sperm in the laboratory and ensures that embryos have an optimal environment for division and continued development. Klaudia started working at the clinic in 2020.
