Exciting changes are happening now at Livio Kungsholmen and Livio Gärdet. On September 1, 2025, the clinics will change their name to Livio Stockholm, and during the autumn, they will gradually merge into an entirely new, state-of-the-art clinic at Gärdet. Livio Stockholm will be located in the same building where Livio Gärdet is currently found and will become one of Sweden’s largest and most advanced reproductive medicine clinics.

Exciting changes are now taking place at our two Stockholm clinics, Livio Kungsholmen and Gärdet. On September 1, 2025, both clinics will be renamed Livio Stockholm. During the autumn, the clinics will be gradually merged, and we will be able to welcome all our patients and donors to a brand new, state-of-the-art clinic at Gärdet.
Livio Kungsholmen has been in its current premises for more than 20 years. More than 3,000 children have been born here. After unsuccessful negotiations with our current landlord, and since the operations must continue, we are very pleased to have found this opportunity.
Livio Stockholm will become one of Sweden’s largest and most advanced clinics in reproductive medicine. You’ll find us at Storängsvägen 10, which is the same building where Livio Gärdet is currently located. The new premises will house both clinics’ IVF operations along with the Livio Egg and Sperm Bank. (The IVF group at Sophiahemmet will remain at Sophiahemmet Hospital.)
Construction of the new clinic is in full progress, and the laboratory is being designed to be one of the most high-tech in the Nordics. We’re very proud that starting this autumn, all our patients and donors will have improved accessibility in a modern environment—with the same trusted team of specialists as today.
If you are a donor, a patient receiving treatment, or if you have eggs, sperm, or embryos in storage with us, you will receive detailed separate information about your continued treatment or storage, which starting in September will be gradually transitioned to Livio Stockholm.
